Quiz ideologia política
Quiz ideologia política, in Portuguese and Spanish
Quiz ideologia política is how Portuguese and Spanish speakers look for a political ideology quiz. This English page explains that wording. The quiz is the 12 Axes test: twelve political values, a compass position, and the closest ideology. It does not match you to a party or a candidate.
Take the 12 Axes testWhat quiz ideologia política is asking for
In Portuguese the grammatical phrase is a quiz of political ideology. In Spanish it is the same idea, spelled ideología. People who type the shorter query want a free quiz that says where they stand, without making them pick a party first.
The Portuguese and Spanish home pages of this site already answer the search for a test of political ideology. This page answers the quiz wording, and it sends you to the same 12 Axes test. It is not a party quiz for Brazil, Portugal, Mexico or Spain.
That query next to the usual alternatives
The words point at several kinds of quiz. This is what each kind actually returns, and which one you are on now.
| Quiz | Language of the query | What you get | What you do not get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quiz ideologia política | Portuguese, and Spanish without the accent | On this site: twelve value scores and a closest ideology | A recommended party or candidate |
| Quiz de ideología política | Spanish | The same 12 Axes test, with the interface in Spanish | A Spanish election ballot |
| Party quiz | Any | A match to parties or candidates, on a site built for that election | A stable map of values |
| 12 Axes test | English, Portuguese and Spanish | Twelve scores, a compass position, closest ideology, country and figure | Instructions on how to vote |
The first two rows are the same test on this site, opened in the language of the search. Party quizzes are a different product, and we do not pretend to be one.
What a quiz ideologia política result shows here
You rate statements from strongly agree to strongly disagree, including a neutral answer. Each answer moves one of twelve scores. The standard test has 60 statements and takes about nine minutes. Shorter and full versions score the same axes.
Four of the scores, Economy, Power, Intervention and Culture, are compared with 38 ideologies. Closeness is published, and so are the next names on the list, so a near tie is not hidden behind a single label.
The other eight scores pick the closest country and historical figure. Country positions describe how a state is governed, not how its people vote. No living politician is scored.

Questions about the wording
Is quiz ideologia política a party quiz?
No. On this site it is a values quiz. It will not tell you which party to vote for in Brazil, Portugal, Mexico, Argentina or Spain. A party quiz is a separate kind of site.
Is the Portuguese page the same test as the Spanish page?
Yes. Both are the 12 Axes test. The statements and the interface change language. The axes and the scoring do not.
How is this different from the Political Compass?
The Political Compass is a separate site with two axes and unpublished scoring. A 12 Axes result includes a compass position and ten further scores, and the formula is published.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no email and no account. Answers are scored in your browser, and the PDF report is free.
Is the label a scientific result?
No political quiz is a validated measuring instrument. Read the closest ideology as a summary of your answers, then look at the axes where you sit far from it.
