01

The short version

There are no accounts or advertising. Your answers are scored in your browser. Optional analytics are described below; Clarity recording requires your permission.

02

What is kept on your device

While you take the test, your progress is saved in your browser's local storage so that you can close the tab and come back. When you finish, the twelve scores of your last result are kept the same way so the site can offer to reopen it. Clearing site data in your browser removes both.

03

What a result link contains

The address of a result page contains twelve numbers between 0 and 100, one for each axis. It contains no name, no answers and no identifier. Anyone who has the link can see those scores, so share it only with people you want to see them.

Result pages and share images are generated from the numbers in the address when someone opens them. Result pages are marked so that search engines do not index them.

04

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and the address requested in order to deliver pages and keep the service secure. This site does not combine that data with anything else.

05

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages are read. It records things like the page viewed, the country, the device and how the visitor arrived. It does not receive your answers, and the address of a result page is replaced with a generic one before anything is sent, so your scores are not included.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are switched off by default. Elsewhere Google Analytics sets cookies to tell one visit from another. You can block it in any browser with Google's opt-out add-on or a content blocker, and the test works the same.

06

Microsoft Clarity

If you opt in, Microsoft Clarity uses analytics cookies, interaction recordings and heatmaps to help us improve public information pages. Advertising storage is denied. Clarity is not loaded before you agree; you can withdraw consent using “Clarity privacy settings” at the bottom of the page.

Recording is limited to the homepage, axes overview, methodology, about, privacy and terms pages. Test pages and result pages are excluded. We also skip recording when a previous result is saved on your device, when the current address contains a query or fragment, or when the referring address is outside the allowed pages. Your choice is saved in local storage. Learn more: https://clarity.microsoft.com/terms and https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

Changes

If advertising is ever added, this page will be updated first and will say exactly what is collected.
